One of my current projects is for Europe’s biggest operator of Designer Outlets. The task is to implement a pan-European digital roll out of a strategy based on search, social and mobile across 20 different locations in 7 countries.

Biglight provides ecommerce support services to leading brands and retailers, helping them turn their online ambitions into reality. I’ve been working with them on various projects since 2009, most recently on Habitat’s re-launch and Dairy Crest’s ‘milk&more’ home delivery proposition.

My experience within the wine trade led to a call from Tesco to assist with the development of their online wine offering. Tesco was looking to develop their provenance in the quality wine sector and wanted to make inroads into the lucrative wine-by-the-case market.

The core theme of my presentations throughout 2009-2010 was the impact of the social web on commerce and marketing. In 2011 my focus has switched to the mobile web and the implications of having a ‘hitch-hikers guide to the galaxy’ in every customers pocket.

A hands-on project delivering a new eCommerce platform and eCRM program for one of the worlds most successful, and enduring, wine clubs. The Wine Society were mail order specialists who were slow to engage with the internet but now trade £20m via their online channel.

RAWK is a internet pure-play specialising in skates, skateboards and gadgets. The job here was all about insight and implementation. The core focus was streamlining costly paid search activity and identifying battles that could be won in natural search. The brand has expanded well and as a small SME, continues to punch above it’s weight.
